The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Events Manager to join our team in Salford Quays.

This role is perfect for someone who’s equally at home managing event operations and developing imaginative event concepts that excite clients and audiences alike. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our talented creative and production teams to deliver seamless, engaging, and memorable experiences from pitch to post-event wrap-up.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the planning, logistics, and delivery of live events from start to finish.
  • Develop and pitch creative event concepts that inspire clients and align with their brand goals.
  • Act as a key client contact, managing relationships with professionalism and warmth.
  • Coordinate all logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier management, delegate registration, communications, and on-site operations.
  • Work in partnership with our AV and production teams so they can bring creative concepts to life with flawless technical execution.
  • Oversee budgets and ensure every project delivers value for money and impact.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with our design and video teams to develop event branding, visuals, and marketing collateral.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering collaboration and excellence.
  • Delivering exceptional attendee experiences, ensuring every detail - from pre-event communication to on-site delivery - is on point.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ full-time event management experience, including at least 2 years in an agency environment.
  • An established events professional with a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex events.
  • Strong creative instincts with the ability to conceptualise and pitch event ideas to clients.
  • Experienced in end-to-end event delivery, including production coordination, logistics, and on-site management.
  • Confident, client-facing communicator who can build lasting relationships.
  • Skilled at managing teams and collaborating across disciplines.
  • Highly organised, detail-driven, and calm under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A relevant qualification in events is desirable but not essential.
  • Full driving licence and own transport required.
  • Willingness to travel.
