We're looking for a commercially-minded Events Manager to join our growing Marketing team and co-lead the delivery of an ambitious, firm-wide events programme.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B events professional to shape and deliver a diverse portfolio of in-person, virtual and hybrid events that support business development, strengthen client relationships and raise the firm's profile. Working across multiple sectors, services and audiences, no two days will be the same.

Working with colleagues across the business, you'll become a trusted adviser to partners, sector leaders and marketing and business development teams, helping to develop events that are strategically aligned, commercially focused and deliver measurable impact. Alongside hands-on delivery, you'll play a key role in evolving our events programme, embedding best practice, improving processes and using insight to maximise engagement and return on investment.

The successful candidate can be based in any of our UK office locations, and will sit alongside the in-place Events Manager, working in partnership with them, and will have dotted line management of the Events Assistant.

If you're looking for a role that offers genuine variety, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how events drive business success, we'd love to hear from you.

What will I be doing?

  • Partnering with stakeholders across the firm to develop and deliver strategic event programmes that align with firm priorities. You'll provide expert advice on event objectives, format, audience, investment and delivery approach.
  • Leading on end-to-end planning, delivery and evaluation of a diverse portfolio of in-person, virtual and hybrid events, ensuring an exceptional delegate experience through effective management of logistics, suppliers, budgets, venues, content and timelines.
  • Building trusted relationships with partners and colleagues, providing clear governance, regular communication and proactive project management to ensure successful event delivery.
  • Working closely with the Business Development team to integrate events into wider client development activity, maintaining strong CRM discipline, audience targeting, reporting and structured post-event follow-up.
  • Measuring event performance through data, stakeholder feedback and commercial outcomes, using insights to continuously improve the firm's events programme, processes, service standards and return on investment.
  • Ensuring all events are delivered in line with firm policies and governance requirements, managing budgets effectively and overseeing supplier and venue relationships to achieve value for money.
  • Collaborating closely with the wider Marketing, Events and Business Development teams, supporting colleagues, sharing best practice and contributing to a high-performing, commercially focused function.
  • Lead and influence colleagues through matrix project working and collaborative partnerships across a flat Events team management structure to support the successful delivery of a busy events calendar.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
