Event Manager
We are delighted to be working with a stunning historic venue in Mayfair, to recruit an experienced and passionate Event Manager to join their team.
The venue provides a unique backdrop for a diverse range of events, from intimate private dinners to weddings, cocktail parties, awards dinners, and larger celebrations. The venue offers a number of beautiful and versatile event spaces, alongside its stunning private courtyard.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys being at the heart of the operation and delivering exceptional events from start to finish.
The Role
As Event Manager, you will take responsibility for the operational delivery of events across the venue, ensuring every occasion runs seamlessly and that guests receive an exceptional level of service.

You will be the key operational contact on the day, leading the event team, coordinating with the kitchen and wider venue team, and ensuring every detail is delivered to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full operational ownership of events on the day
- Lead and motivate the events and front-of-house team
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen, catering, and wider venue teams
- Ensure room layouts, service, timings, and event details are delivered perfectly
- Maintain exceptionally high standards of food, service, and presentation
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded
- Brief and debrief the team before and after events
- Ensure all health & safety, licensing, and operational procedures are followed

About You
We are looking for an experienced Event Manager, Banqueting Manager, Assistant Banqueting Manager, or Senior Operations Manager who has a genuine passion for events and hospitality.
You may currently be working within a high-end hotel, banqueting venue, events venue, or private members’ club.
