EMEA Events Manager

Location: London (Hybrid)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Contract until April 2027
Rate: £250-£315 per day
IR35 Status: Inside IR35

I'm working with a leading global technology organisation that is looking for an experienced EMEA Events Manager to join its collaborative Event Marketing team.

This team is responsible for planning and delivering a diverse portfolio of customer, partner and executive events across Europe.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies and suppliers, you'll help deliver exceptional event experiences that support wider marketing and business objectives across the EMEA region.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading the planning and execution of live and virtual events across EMEA
  • Managing conferences, customer events, partner summits, executive meetings and roadshows
  • Coordinating event logistics including venue sourcing, attendee communications, registration management and speaker coordination
  • Managing external suppliers, agencies, venues and vendors
  • Owning event budgets, contracts, timelines and project plans
  • Tracking event performance, ROI and attendee feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support integrated marketing initiatives
  • Supporting large-scale pan-EMEA event programmes
  • Identifying new processes and cost-saving opportunities across event programmes
  • Travelling across Europe to support onsite event delivery when required

What we're looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience in Event Management, Event Marketing or Conference Production
  • Proven experience delivering end-to-end B2B events
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers, vendors and event logistics
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively across multiple teams
  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required

Desirable experience:

  • Experience delivering B2B events within a technology, software or SaaS environment would be advantageous
  • Exposure to EMEA or international event programmes
  • Experience managing conferences, roadshows, customer events and partner events
  • French or German language skills
