We’re a small, bespoke corporate events agency, and we’re looking for an Event Manager to join us on an ongoing monthly retainer — this is a continuing role with us, not one-off freelance project work.

We organise events across the UK and Europe for 15–150 guests — team meetings, incentive events and company off-sites — and pride ourselves on the personal service that keeps our clients coming back. We’re unusual in that we rarely go on-site ourselves; instead we set our clients up to run their events successfully themselves.

This role is remote and open to UK-based candidates only — you’ll need to be currently based in, and eligible to work in, the UK. Travel is limited: most of the role is supporting clients remotely, with occasional on-site support and FAM trips.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
