About The Role
Are you an experienced Events Manager with a passion for delivering safe, successful, and memorable events? Do you thrive in fast paced, high profile environments where no two days are the same?
First Response Group is seeking an ambitious and driven Events Manager Stadia to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of large scale events, manage operational delivery, lead security teams, and build strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio of venues and events.
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and customer experience.

Competitive salary of up to £40,000, dependent on experience.

Job Description
- Lead the strategic planning, coordination, and successful delivery of events from concept through to completion.
- Manage and oversee security personnel, event staff, and operational teams across multiple venues and events.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and venue management throughout event delivery.
- Ensure full compliance with all legislative, contractual, health & safety, and company requirements.
- Produce accurate operational reports, event documentation, post event reviews, and performance analysis.
- Manage event budgets, staffing costs, client quotations, purchase orders, and invoicing processes.
- Support the continued growth and development of the Stadia & Events division through proactive planning and operational excellence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for clients, guests, and stakeholders.
- Lead, coach, motivate, and develop teams to achieve outstanding performance and high operational standards.
- Maintain the highest levels of safety, security, and service delivery across all events.
- Take ownership of incidents, challenges, and customer concerns, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and enhanced operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with agreed objectives and expectations.

Essential Skills
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Minimum 3 years' experience in operational management, including team leadership
- Proven background in event management and event security delivery
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Financial awareness and budget management experience
- Knowledge of event legislation and licensing requirements
- Strong understanding of health and safety responsibilities
- Competent user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound operational decisions
- Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days
