Clarion Events - Digital Marketing Division
At Clarion, our people are at the absolute heart of what we do. We’re proud that our core values of PASSION, CARE, IMAGINATION, and TRUST define the way we carry out our work across all of our teams.
If you share our values and want to be a part of a successful, dynamic, and creative global business then we want to hear from you.
The Opportunity
Clarion’s Digital Marketing Division is home to market-leading brands including Affiliate Summit and Creator Economy Live. We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious content or production professional to take full ownership of Creator Economy Live – the definitive influencer marketing event for brands, which has grown 25%+ year-over-year since its 2023 launch – while also leading content strategy across the wider Digital Marketing portfolio.
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you’ll manage the P&L, growth strategy and content direction for Creator Economy Live, and act as Head of Content for the division, leading a team of content producers and shaping the programmes across both Creator Economy Live and Affiliate Summit.
Affiliate Summit hosts the world’s premier affiliate marketing events (East and West), drawing thousands of global attendees who are shaping the future of performance marketing. Together, our events break the traditional conference mould – bringing together mass media publishers, affiliates, SMEs, bloggers, influencers, content creators and enterprise brands.
As consumer behaviours evolve and everybody is now shopping online, our events continue to grow at double-digit rates. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step up into their first show-leadership role, owning the P&L for a fast-growing brand while shaping content strategy across the portfolio.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate is an experienced content or production lead, ready to take the next step into show leadership and P&L ownership. You’ll combine strong commercial instincts with a genuine passion for content, and be comfortable balancing the demands of running a business with shaping an industry-leading programme. This role includes managing the production team, so some prior leadership experience is important, though we welcome candidates ready to grow into people management.
Key Responsibilities

- Own the profit and loss performance of Creator Economy Live, including budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision-making
- Lead the growth strategy for the show, identifying new revenue streams, audience segments and opportunities to scale.
- Shape the overall show strategy and value proposition, using market research, customer insight and competitor analysis to keep Creator Economy Live ahead of the market.
- Project manage live event delivery, bringing together marketing, customer success, sales and operations to ensure a successful event.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects who are strategically important to the brand.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
