Want to create experiences people remember?
We’re looking for a Marketing Events Lead to join our UK Marketing team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to shape and deliver a best-in-class programme of consumer, cultural, fashion and entertainment experiences across our UK portfolio.
You’ll be close to the action, working across Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City and the newly branded St James Quarter, alongside Marketing, Leasing, Westfield Rise, Operations and Security.
If you combine creative ambition with exceptional project management and love bringing bold ideas to life, we’d love to hear from you.
Why this role matters
Our destinations are about much more than the places people shop. They are places to discover, connect and experience something memorable. In this role, you’ll lead the events and activations that bring our UK destinations to life, helping to drive footfall, strengthen our brand and create value for customers, communities and retail partners. You’ll own the journey from early concept and planning through to live delivery and performance review, ensuring every experience is creative, relevant, safe and commercially effective.
What you’ll be getting involved in
No two days will look exactly the same, but you’ll spend your time:
- Leading the planning and delivery of major events, activations and seasonal campaigns across the UK portfolio, from concept through to onsite execution and post-event review
- Developing and managing the annual events calendar, aligning activity with destination marketing plans, customer needs and commercial objectives
- Bringing consumer and cultural trends to life through relevant physical experiences, while managing event briefs, timelines, production plans and budgets
- Appointing and managing agencies, freelancers, suppliers and production partners, ensuring quality, value and accountability throughout delivery
- Partnering with Centre Marketing Managers, Leasing, Westfield Rise, Operations and Security to deliver a seamless and exceptional guest experience
- Measuring event performance across footfall, engagement, brand impact and commercial outcomes, while ensuring health, safety, accessibility and compliance requirements are met
What we’re looking for
We’re not looking for someone who ticks every single box. What matters most is that you bring the right experience, judgement and energy to make a real contribution. You’ll enjoy this role if you:
- Have proven experience delivering large-scale consumer, experiential, cultural, fashion, entertainment or destination events
- Combine strong creative judgement with excellent project management and attention to detail
- Are confident building relationships and coordinating cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders and external partners
- Can manage multiple complex projects, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Are commercially minded and understand how events can drive customer engagement, brand impact and business performance
- Remain calm and solutions-focused during live delivery and are comfortable working evenings or weekends when events require it

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
