Do you love mental health events?

We need your expert skills and guidance for our small nonprofit event team

Remote Event Management for 5th Anniversary for 100+ delegates.

What difference will you make?

This role supports Think Tenacity Events and Free Therapy Team to continue providing FREE counselling and mental health support for our members from the Black community.

This volunteering role will help our nonprofit organisation develop free entry events for 2026 to drive future success for the organisation to educate and raise awareness of Black mental health issues in the community.

What are we looking for?

Skills / Experience

  • minimum three years event experience
  • high organisational skills and high attention to detail
  • effective interpersonal skills
  • high written and verbal communication
  • a calm approach for event time-management
  • ability to work under pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event
  • flexible and solution focused when managing event schedules
  • must have proactive approach to share new event management ideas
  • self-motivated to work independently but can adapt to be a team player
  • ability to use WhatsApp for event team communications

DO YOU HAVE EXPERT SKILLS IN EVENT MANAGEMENT FOR 100 DELEGATES & CAN WORK REMOTELY

We need your expert skills and guidance for our small nonprofit event team providing event management for our our 5th Anniversary for 100+ delegates.

This remote role is ideal for someone who is passionate about free mental health events.

You are a highly organised person with strong event management | 3 years experience working in events from private or public sector.

Working from your home you will

  • Attend weekly Zoom event planning team meetings with CEO & Think Tenacity Senior Leader Team via Zoom.
  • Support our Event Team and Therapy Team to plan 2026 calendar schedule of events from; Mental Health workshops, Event committee meetings via zoom to annual Think Tenacity Event.
  • Managing pre-planning events deadlines from panel/speaker schedule, booking venue hospitality, volunteer delegation and RSVP delegate management.
  • Responsibility for updating and tracking event project deadlines using a spreadsheet.
  • Update event team's Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) providing step-by-step instructions for completing event tasks, helping to maintain consistency and efficiency.
