Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is looking for a part-time events manager and project planner to support internal events for one of our technology clients in London, England. Candidate must reside within the UK.
The events manager must have corporate events experience and be flexible to work additional hours closer to the event date as well as be able to travel onsite to the events.
The project planner must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and able to pivot easily within a constantly changing landscape.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee event project plans, timelines, key deadlines, and deliverables.
- Lead multiple EMEA events and proactively communicate progress, updates, changes, and key decisions to stakeholders.
- Develop event overviews, recaps, and key program documentation for stakeholders.
- Maintain event calendars and update event status in Workfront.
- Develop and maintain event processes and templates to ensure consistency across planning and execution.
- Source and evaluate venues, hotels, and vendors across EMEA; coordinate RFPs and proposal comparisons.
- Coordinate internal conference rooms and meeting spaces as needed.
- Oversee event logistics, including venue, catering, AV, internet, transportation, signage, collateral, shipping, and attendee needs.
- Own event budgets, track expenses, process invoices, and complete post-event reconciliation.
- Support Regional Business Leaders (RBLs) with regional meetings, events, and other event-related needs.
- Partner closely with Global Event Operations, regional stakeholders, venues, and vendors.
- Track attendance and registration and proactively communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
- Travel throughout EMEA as required and oversee onsite event setup and execution.
- Ability to flex hours and increase workload in the 2–3 weeks leading up to events, as required.

Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of event planning and project management experience, or equivalent experience managing complex corporate events.
- Proactive communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and follows through on action items, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain accuracy while managing multiple events, deadlines, and workstreams.
- Experience managing corporate events, partner/customer meetings, workshops, and multi-day programs.
- Strong venue sourcing, vendor management, budgeting, and onsite event experience.
- Excellent event project management, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Polished verbal and written communication skills and a professional presence.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders, sales teams, partners, and vendors.
- Strong understanding of event and project management technology, or ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong Excel skills, including the ability to organize and manipulate data; comfortable using PowerPoint.
- Experience with Workfront preferred.
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus.
