Events Manager

C&C Search is currently recruiting for an Events Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract for a prestigious global professional services firm based in London. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced corporate events professional to take ownership of high-profile events, deliver exceptional client experiences and work closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Position: Events Manager

Salary: £55,000-£60,000 (depending on experience)

Key responsibilities for this position:

  • Oversee the planning and delivery of large, complex corporate events, including conferences, offsites and senior leadership events
  • Take ownership of end-to-end client experience and events projects, from initial proposals and timelines through to onsite delivery
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously, anticipating different scenarios and ensuring all stakeholders are fully briefed
  • Coordinate internal teams, venues, production companies, caterers, photographers, speakers, entertainers and other external suppliers
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, sponsorship opportunities and supplier relationships, ensuring events remain cost-effective
  • Develop a strong understanding of each client’s objectives and ensure the event experience is tailored accordingly
  • Oversee onsite event management, including guest registration, event set-up, changeovers, AV requirements and troubleshooting
  • Produce and update event reporting dashboards, presenting insights
  • Evaluate event outcomes, gather feedback and identify opportunities to continuously improve the client journey

What background and experience are the company looking for?

  • Ideally you will have extensive experience organising and delivering events at a senior level
  • Strong experience planning corporate events of varying sizes, ideally within a professional or corporate environment
  • Proven client service experience and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency while remaining calm under pressure
  • Strong supplier, venue and stakeholder management experience
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to use initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and strong general IT skills
  • A flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to provide onsite support outside standard office hours when required
