About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded Event Marketing Manager to lead marketing activity for a portfolio of ICIS events. In this role, you will develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns that drive audience engagement, delegate acquisition, sponsorship opportunities and commercial performance. Working closely with stakeholders across Events, Sales, Content and Customer Success, you will help ensure marketing activity is targeted, relevant and aligned to business goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop commercially focused marketing strategies for a portfolio of events, aligned to revenue targets, customer needs and business priorities.
- Own integrated marketing campaigns from planning and proposition development through to execution, reporting and optimisation.
- Define target audiences, campaign objectives, channel plans and success measures for each event.
- Translate customer insight, market developments and event propositions into clear, targeted messaging.
- Deliver high-quality campaign activity across email, web, social, content, partnerships and sales enablement.
- Partner with Sales to support delegate acquisition, sponsorship lead generation, strategic account engagement and revenue performance.
- Collaborate with Content, Editorial, Product, Analytics and Operations teams to strengthen event propositions and improve campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor campaign performance and commercial outcomes, using insight to optimise activity and inform future event strategies.
Requirements
- Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in events, conferences, media, information services or another commercially focused environment.
- Experience planning and delivering integrated campaigns that support revenue, delegate acquisition, lead generation and customer engagement goals.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Good understanding of audience segmentation, campaign targeting and data-led acquisition.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to create clear, customer-focused campaign messaging.
- Confident using campaign performance, customer insight and commercial data to optimise marketing activity.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across Sales, Content, Product and Operations teams.
