Who we are

Volta Ventures is a face-to-face marketing company working in the telecoms sector. We run live sales events and in-store retail campaigns for major telecoms brands, growing their customer base through direct, personal engagement — real conversations with real customers, not ads on a screen.

We're based in Birmingham city centre — a short walk from New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill, so we're an easy commute from right across the West Midlands. Our events and retail campaigns are expanding fast, and we're building the team to run them.

The role

This is a hands-on events and retail campaign role.

You'll start on the ground face to face at our live events and in-store retail campaigns, talking to customers directly and acquiring new business for our telecoms clients. From there you'll move into running campaigns: hiring and onboarding event staff, owning campaign targets, coaching new starters, and eventually leading teams across multiple sites.

Events and retail campaigns are the part of the business we're growing hardest right now, so there's real room to move — we promote from within, with every manager starting from the grassroots level.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
