Event Marketing Manager

London / Hybrid
October – End of year
£240.00 p/d PAYE

Are you an experienced Event Marketing Manager with a strong background in financial services and capital markets? We are seeking a highly organised and commercially focused marketing professional to join the European Marketing team of a leading global banking organisation on a contract basis through to the end of the year.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-profile client engagement programmes, roadshows, webinars and strategic events across the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business throughout Europe and the UK.

The Role

As Event Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse portfolio of marketing events and roadshows designed to strengthen client relationships, support business growth and enhance brand visibility across key markets.

Working closely with senior stakeholders across Corporate & Investment Banking, Sales, Product and Marketing teams, you will ensure seamless execution of events while maintaining the highest standards of delivery, governance and budget management.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Roadshow Management

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of a variety of corporate and investment banking events, including:
    • Equity Roadshows
    • Fixed Income Roadshows
    • Deal and Non-Deal Roadshows
    • Investor Calls
    • Reverse Roadshows
    • Bank Presentations
    • Pricing Day Events
    • Closing Dinners
  • Coordinate event logistics, stakeholder communications and execution plans.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Ensure all activity is delivered efficiently, professionally and within budget.

Marketing & Client Engagement

  • Support the delivery of webinars and virtual events.
  • Assist with broader conference and event activity across Europe and the UK.
  • Manage event platforms, registration systems and invitation processes.
  • Provide on-site event support where required.
  • Help drive client engagement opportunities aligned to business growth objectives.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong working relationships with senior business leaders and marketing colleagues.
  • Collaborate effectively across regional and global teams.
  • Navigate complex stakeholder environments with confidence and professionalism.
  • Act as a trusted partner, ensuring exceptional service delivery and responsiveness.

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong event execution skills with experience operating within a fast-paced, highly regulated financial services environment.

Essential Experience

  • 5+ years' experience in event marketing, roadshow management or financial services events.
  • Proven experience within banking, investment banking, capital markets, financial services or a specialist B2B agency serving financial clients.
  • Strong understanding of Corporate & Investment Banking products and audiences.
  • Experience managing high-profile client-facing events across multiple European markets.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within complex, matrixed organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Additional qualifications in Marketing, Business, Finance or related disciplines would be advantageous.
