Job Title: Events Operations Manager: Luxury Hotel
Salary: Up to 55,000
Location: London
My client is looking for an experienced Events Operations Manager to join a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of London. This is a hands-on operational role overseeing group bookings, private events, corporate functions, and brand activations, taking each event from confirmation through to delivery. You'll work closely with F and B, Sales, Security, and wider hotel teams to ensure every event runs seamlessly.
What You'll Do
- Lead the planning and operational delivery of events across the hotel
- Create detailed event plans, run sheets, floorplans, and team briefs
- Coordinate F and B, Security, Sales, and wider hotel teams
- Manage staffing, set-up, live event delivery, and breakdown
- Act as the key operational contact on event days
- Ensure all events meet licensing, Health and Safety, and compliance requirements
- Manage VIP, corporate, and high-profile events
- Review events and drive continuous operational improvements

What You'll Bring
- 3-5+ years experience in Events Operations within a luxury hotel, lifestyle venue, or high-volume hospitality environment
- Proven experience managing complex events and multiple departments
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality and event operations
- Personal Licence holder
- Good knowledge of UK licensing, Health and Safety, and compliance
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Confident, hands-on leader who stays calm under pressure
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required
