Job Description

Goose + Berry is an award-winning catering and events company, specialising in weddings, corporate occasions and private celebrations across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and beyond.

As the team continues to grow, we are delighted to offer a rare and rewarding opportunity for an Event Planner to join us.

Salary

£30,000 per annum plus paid overtime (£6,000 approx)

About the Role

You will manage client enquiries from initial contact through to event delivery, ensuring a seamless, professional and personable experience throughout. The role is hands-on and varied, combining planning, coordination and on-the-day delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing client enquiries and event planning from enquiry to completion
  • Running weddings and events on the day
  • Hosting and supporting clients before and during events
  • Liaising with venues and external suppliers
  • Placing supplier orders and managing logistics
  • Managing budgets, accounts and event costings
  • Supporting day-to-day office administration and sales tasks
  • Evening and weekend working will be required.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for events
  • Be warm, personable and confident when engaging with clients and colleagues
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Display a professional and confident telephone manner
  • Be highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
  • Remain calm under pressure and troubleshoot effectively on event days
