Event Planning Lead (Part-Time, 12 Month FTC)

Opportunity to join a global organisation in a specialist events role, leading the planning and delivery of high-profile internal events that engage employees and support business priorities.

Working as part of the Global Internal Communications team, this role will take ownership of event logistics, operations and production across a portfolio of virtual, hybrid and in-person events. Partnering closely with senior leaders, Executive Committee members and external event partners, the Event Planning Lead will ensure every event is delivered seamlessly and to the highest standard.

Location: Predominately remote with some international travel required
Working arrangement: Part-time, three days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, logistics and operational delivery of major internal events, including global town halls, leadership events and regional summits.
• Manage all aspects of event execution across virtual, hybrid and in-person formats.
• Act as the organisation’s subject matter expert for Microsoft Teams Town Hall, providing guidance on best practice, production and audience engagement.
• Partner with Executive Committee members, senior leaders and speakers to deliver professional and impactful event experiences.
• Coordinate venues, production partners, IT requirements, translation services, travel arrangements and registration processes.
• Manage relationships with external event agencies, suppliers and vendors to ensure successful delivery and budget control.
• Develop and maintain project plans, event timelines, risk mitigation plans and run-of-show documentation.
• Provide onsite and virtual event support, ensuring smooth delivery and effective problem resolution.
• Identify opportunities to improve attendee, speaker and leadership experiences across all events.
• Support venue sourcing and future event planning activities.
