Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Events Planning Manager to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, London. As an Events Planning Manager, you will be fostering great relationships with non-matchday clients, using our event spaces to tailor a variety of events -- from Conferences to Boardroom meetings, Award Ceremonies and Podcast Launches. What will you do?
- Manage the non-matchday event planning for all clients, including venue owner partners, sponsors, and box holders, prioritising the best guest experience
- Ensure accurate supplier list rates and privileges, reviewing new industry experiences and options to enhance the guest experience
- Diary management for events, ensuring accurate information and successful planning of operation of events, collaborating with relevant departments.
- Produce and distribute weekly function sheets, and lead weekly briefing meetings with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Ensure company accounting policies are adhered to and the operation is in accordance with current practice of health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards
More About You
- 5+ years’ event experience, particularly within a similar environment
- No degree required
- Skills in communication, organisation, attention to detail, productivity, flexibility, and quick to learn
- IT literate including Microsoft Office
- Excellent knowledge of food and event hospitality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel and work at the London Stadium, and possibly other venues as necessary
- Availability to work evenings and weekends for event days, due to events-based nature of the role
