EVENT PRODUCTION MANAGER | GLOBAL CREATIVE EXPERIENCE AGENCY

East Central London | Hybrid X 3 DAYS

For those who know that the best creative ideas only become great experiences when the production behind them is exceptional.

We’re working with a globally recognised creative experience agency looking for an experienced Production Manager to join its growing team.

This is an agency-side role spanning live events, brand experiences, digital, hybrid, content and broadcast, working across ambitious projects for major global brands.

You’ll sit at the heart of delivery — translating creative ambition into smart, commercially sound and technically robust production.

THE ROLE

You’ll take ownership of production from early concept through to onsite delivery and debrief, working closely with creative, client services, strategy and project teams, alongside an extensive network of suppliers and production partners.

You’ll be the person people turn to when the brief is ambitious, the moving parts are numerous and the pressure is on.

That means:

  • Leading end-to-end event production management across complex brand experiences and live projects
  • Managing budgets of £500k+, negotiating with suppliers and protecting commercial margins
  • Developing production schedules, plans, budgets, risk assessments and delivery strategies
  • Working confidently across scenic, AV, lighting, rigging, logistics and live-event infrastructure
  • Managing technical suppliers, fabricators, freelancers, logistics partners and specialist crews
  • Navigating H&S, licensing, insurance, permitting and compliance requirements
  • Working closely with creative teams to find practical solutions without compromising the idea
  • Keeping multiple stakeholders aligned, informed and confident throughout delivery
  • Being calm, solutions-focused and highly visible when the pressure ramps up

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Commercially sharp — comfortable owning significant budgets, negotiating hard and knowing where to spend, save and challenge.
  • Technically confident — with a strong understanding of production disciplines and ideally experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp or Vectorworks.
  • Calm under pressure — when something inevitably changes, you’re already thinking about the solution.
  • Highly organised — schedules, budgets, suppliers, paperwork and detail are your territory.
  • Collaborative — you know great production is rarely achieved alone and build strong relationships across creative, client and delivery teams.
