Events Project Coordinator / Junior PM

Boutique Events & Creative Agency | South Manchester

Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 DOE

Location: South Manchester

Working pattern: Hybrid


We’re working with an established, independent events agency in South Manchester who are looking for an Events Project Coordinator to join their brilliant team.

This is a genuinely varied role. You’ll be working across conferences, awards ceremonies, gala dinners and experiential projects, as well as getting exposure to wider social and video projects for some fantastic clients.

Agency experience is key. We’re looking for someone who understands the pace of agency life, is comfortable managing multiple projects and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver brilliant work for clients.

The role

You’ll be involved throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with the wider team to make sure projects are delivered smoothly, creatively and commercially.

You’ll be:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of conferences, awards, gala dinners and experiential projects
  • Coordinating multiple projects, timelines, suppliers and deliverables
  • Working closely with clients and helping to build strong relationships
  • Liaising with venues, suppliers, production teams and creative partners
  • Supporting budgets, schedules and project documentation
  • Getting involved in on-site delivery and event days
  • Working across social and video projects alongside the live events work
  • Helping ensure projects are delivered to a consistently high standard

What we're looking for

Previous agency experience is essential. This could be within an events, experiential, creative, production or integrated agency environment.

You’ll ideally be someone who:

  • Has experience working on live events and/or creative projects within an agency
  • Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
  • Enjoys working directly with clients and building relationships
  • Is commercially aware and understands the importance of budgets and margins
  • Can keep calm when things inevitably change!
  • Is proactive, positive and happy to get stuck in
  • Takes pride in delivering great work for clients
  • Wants to develop their career within an established agency
