Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
Client: multinational healthcare company
Contract: 12 month Contract
We are looking for an experienced Events Project Manager to join Roche’s Events team and deliver a range of internal and external events, including large conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions and customer visits.
You will work closely with the Events Team Leader, Event Executives and key business stakeholders to manage events from initial brief through to delivery and post-event reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage internal and external events from planning through to delivery.
- Source and manage venues, suppliers, speakers and other third parties.
- Manage event budgets, POs, invoices and contractual arrangements.
- Coordinate event logistics, travel, accommodation and delegate management.
- Manage registrations, attendee lists, event communications and content.
- Deliver on-site event management and resolve issues effectively.
- Complete risk assessments, H&S requirements and ensure event compliance.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing/Marcomms and other key stakeholders.
- Support the delivery of marketing and business plans through effective event execution.
- Gather and report event feedback and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships across the affiliate and global network.

Essential Experience
- Proven experience managing virtual, hybrid and face-to-face events.
- Strong event project management and stakeholder management experience.
- Experience managing event budgets and suppliers.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events/projects and remain calm under pressure.
- Commercial understanding of how events support business and marketing objectives.

Desirable
- Experience with Cvent, Salesforce or similar event/CRM platforms.
- Experience within Pharma, Healthcare, MedTech or Life Sciences.
- Experience managing large conferences, exhibitions or international events.
- Line management or team leadership experience.
- Understanding of customer experience/journey mapping.
- Relevant Events, Marketing or Business qualification.
