Projects & Events Manager
We are looking for an experienced Projects & Events Manager to join a leading training provider. This is a varied role combining project management, event delivery, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, with responsibility for high-profile events and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with automotive, technical and client-facing teams to deliver projects that enhance the learner experience, strengthen stakeholder relationships and raise the profile of the academy across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and delivery of high-profile events, competitions, graduations and learner enrichment activities.
- Manage supplier and event partner relationships, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead cross-functional projects supporting technical and customer experience priorities.
- Drive industry awards, recognition and external engagement opportunities.
- Support the delivery of national and international skills competitions.
- Oversee reporting, data analysis and insights across projects and events.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
- Ensure activities align with premium automotive brand standards.
- Line manage and support an Events & Projects Coordinator.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external automotive stakeholders.

About You
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven project management experience, ideally within automotive, training or a similar environment.
- Strong experience in event planning and delivery.
- Excellent supplier, stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- A background in innovation, continuous improvement or strategic project delivery.
- Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
- A proactive, commercial and solutions-focused approach.
- The confidence to influence and collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- A recognised project management or events qualification would be desirable.
