About Thursday:
Thursday is not your average dating app. We bring singles together in real life, every Thursday, in bars and venues across major cities. Our mission? To help people ditch the endless swiping and make real connections, face to face.
💼 Your Role: Event Host / Ticketing Staff
You’ll be the friendly face that kicks off our Thursday events! Your job is to welcome guests, scan tickets, and help create a great first impression for our single attendees.

🌟 What You’ll Do:
- Arrive 10–15 minutes before the event starts.
- Introduce yourself to the venue staff — they’ll be expecting you!
- Stand at the event entrance to check guests in using our ticket scanning app.
💬 Professional & Clear:
Each guest must have a valid ticket to enter. If someone arrives without one, kindly direct them to events.getthursday.com where they can select their city, venue, and event date to check availability and purchase an on-the-door ticket. Please note that on-the-door tickets are limited and may not always be available due to venue capacity. We do not accept cash payments.
