Job Description

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive, confident, and driven sales professional to join our growing team. As an Event Sales Executive, you’ll play a key role in the success of our B2B exhibitions in the education and healthcare sectors. You’ll build relationships, grow revenue, and become a champion within these impactful industries.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys selling over the phone, thrives on hitting targets, and is eager to develop their career in a fun, collaborative team environment.

You'll be expected to maintain a high level of outbound client engagement (minimum 70 minutes daily), focusing strongly on new business generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell exhibition stand space and sponsorship opportunities to new and existing clients
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients to encourage upselling and repeat business
  • Source and qualify new business leads
  • Attend competitor and partner events to identify new opportunities
  • Be onsite at events for setup, live days, and face-to-face selling
  • Use our CRM system effectively to manage your sales pipeline and activity levels
  • Collaborate with the sales team to hit individual and team targets
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to exhibitor questions and feedback
  • Quote prices, negotiate, and close sales confidently
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks as needed

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, telesales, or customer service
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and working in a target-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proactive, adaptable, and resilient – you thrive under pressure and handle rejection professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with a team-focused mindset
  • Experience using CRM systems is a bonus
