ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a passionate and guest-focused Event Sales Manager to become a valued member of our outstanding Event Sales team at Pan Pacific London.

JOB SUMMARY

As an Event Sales Manager, you will be developing new clients and retaining existing clientele in the various market segments to sell corporate event services at Pan Pacific London. You will assist the Director of Events in developing and executing strategic plans to achieve & exceed annual budget & strategic M&E goals. Also, as an Event Sales Manager, you will ensure that operations meet Hotel and PPHG standards by functioning as a business partner with all areas of the hotel that are impacted by the M&E department.   • Conduct hotel site visits, and be involved in Fam trips and internal events
  • Coordinate the enquiry cycle from the enquiry to end of contracting stage, and handover to the planning team.
  • Quote and negotiate on rates and space within the pre-defined parameters set.
  • Prepare all contracts for customers, including payment requirements.
  • Actively up-sell each business opportunity, selling all function space to its maximum capacity and to the right target market.
  • Align customer and event profile with the appropriate hotel product.
  • Develop a knowledge of competitor properties and enquiry sales processes.
