Event Sales Manager (All Levels)

Lead sales success, shape exceptional client experiences, and play a key role in a growing events business.

A commercially-driven Event Sales Manager is required to join a thriving events team, taking ownership of the sales process from enquiry through to project confirmation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a business that delivers memorable events and values commercial success, collaboration, and outstanding client service.

You'll be responsible for converting high-quality leads, building long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth through a structured sales approach. Whether you're an experienced Event Sales Executive looking to step up or an established Event Sales Manager seeking a fresh challenge, this role offers genuine opportunity to make an impact.

What you'll be doing...

  • Drive event sales performance, consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Convert enquiries into confirmed projects, managing the full sales cycle from initial brief to signed agreement.
  • Build lasting client relationships, creating opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
  • Manage sales KPIs and pipeline activity, tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with operational teams, ensuring client expectations are seamlessly delivered.
  • Prepare and present proposals, negotiating confidently to secure new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, ensuring visibility across all opportunities and client interactions.

What experience you'll need to apply:

  • Proven experience within event sales, venue sales, business development, or a similar commercial role.
  • A strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPI delivery.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  • A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience using a CRM system would be advantageous.
