Crossbasket Castle is seeking an exceptional Event Sales Manager to join our award-winning team.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Business Development, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth across weddings, corporate events, private celebrations, and exclusive experiences within one of Scotland's most sought-after luxury hospitality destinations.

As our estate evolves, we are entering an exciting new chapter with the launch of The Four Angels Spa in November 2026. This significant addition to the estate will further enhance our luxury offering and create exciting new opportunities across leisure, wellness, weddings, corporate events, and bespoke guest experiences.
Role Overview
This position offers far more than a sales role. It is an opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to make a genuine impact within a growing business while developing their career within an ambitious and expanding luxury hospitality group. About You
You are a highly motivated hospitality professional who thrives on building meaningful client relationships and converting opportunities into exceptional experiences.
- Passionate about luxury hospitality, you combine commercial awareness with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- You understand what it takes to create unforgettable weddings, events, and guest experiences, and you take pride in delivering excellence at every stage of the client journey.
- With a minimum of three years' experience in wedding and event sales and planning, ideally within a luxury hotel, venue, or hospitality environment, you possess the confidence, professionalism, and expertise required to guide clients from initial enquiry through to flawless execution.
- You are highly organised, commercially focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional standards.
- You remain calm, professional, and effective in a fast-paced environment, inspiring confidence in both clients and colleagues alike.
- Most importantly, you embody a positive and proactive attitude, thrive in a collaborative team environment, and share our passion for delivering exceptional experiences while exceeding expectations at every opportunity.

Essential Requirements
- Minimum three years' experience selling and planning weddings and events.
- Strong understanding of the luxury wedding and events market.
- Knowledge of MICE and corporate events business would be advantageous.
- Entertainment industry market knowledge would be beneficial.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using CRM and event management systems, with strong administration and reporting skills.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Professional appearance and presentation reflective of a luxury five-star brand.
- Strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive enquiries, conversions, and revenue across weddings, private celebrations, corporate events, and MICE business opportunities.
- Manage the complete client journey from enquiry through to successful event completion.
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct venue show rounds, site inspections, and client consultations.
- Prepare bespoke proposals, quotations, contracts, and event documentation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents, event planners, and corporate buyers.
- Identify new business opportunities and proactively generate sales leads.
- Support the sales development and promotion of The Four Angels Spa and emerging estate experiences.
- Lead planning meetings, menu tastings, and final details appointments with clients.
- Work collaboratively with operational departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and oversee event administration and sales reporting.
- Analyse sales performance and contribute to revenue growth strategies.
- Mentor, coach, and support members of the Events Team.
- Represent Crossbasket Castle at trade shows, industry networking events, and wedding exhibitions.
- Consistently deliver exceptional standards of hospitality, service, and guest care.
