WILD BY TART
Eccleston Yards, Belgravia, London
WE'RE HIRING
Event Sales Executive
Reporting to: Head of Events
Wild By Tart is a Michelin Guide-listed restaurant at Eccleston Yards in Belgravia, known for its warm, design-led dining room, celebrated seasonal menus and a beautiful private events space that has become a destination in its own right for private dining, product launches, celebrations and corporate hire.
We're looking to appoint a highly proactive, sales-focused Event Sales Executive who builds and maintains a large, well-qualified pipeline and delivers a high conversion rate. Someone who goes out and wins business rather than waiting to respond to enquiries. A true self-starter who thrives on new business across one of London's most distinctive premium hospitality venues.
THE VENUE
Wild By Tart is housed within a striking 9,000 sq. ft former power station in Belgravia. A building with real industrial character, reimagined as a warm, design-led space. Beyond the restaurant and bar, the building is home to a photography studio and a mezzanine private dining space, giving the venue a rare range and flexibility for events, from intimate dinners to brand takeovers.
THE ROLE
- Proactively identify and win new business opportunities through outbound sales activity.
- Sell in-house events, typically social functions, corporate events, product launches, brand runways, private dining and external catering.
- Be the primary point of contact for incoming event enquiries, qualifying them for ROI and converting them at a high rate.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.
- Consult with prospective clients to understand their objectives and recommend tailored event solutions.
- Advise clients expertly on menus, wine and pairings, AV requirements, entertainment, timings and optimal room layouts.
- Drive venue profitability by identifying and executing sales strategies.
- Build and maintain a large, well-qualified sales pipeline with a high conversion rate, consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity and forecasts within the CRM.
- Bring a commercially focused sales approach to every client interaction.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
