An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and commercially driven Event Sales Manager to join a prestigious luxury lifestyle hotel in Central London.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant, design-led hospitality destination renowned for delivering outstanding guest experiences, innovative dining concepts, and exceptional events. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving event revenue, building strong client relationships, and securing a diverse portfolio of business.
Reporting into the senior commercial leadership team, the Event Sales Manager will be responsible for managing event enquiries from initial contact through to contract stage, maximising conversion opportunities, and ensuring an outstanding client experience throughout the sales journey. You will work closely with the events planning and operations teams to ensure a seamless handover once business is confirmed.

Responsibilities
- Respond to and manage enquiries for corporate events, private dining, celebrations, meetings, and exclusive hire opportunities.
- Conduct site inspections and showcase the hotel's event spaces to prospective clients.
- Prepare tailored proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure bookings in line with revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and private customers.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities and develop existing accounts.
- Collaborate with revenue, food and beverage, and operations teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records and forecasting through the hotel's CRM and sales systems.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, client functions, and industry showcases.

Requirements
- Previous experience in an Event Sales Manager, Groups and Events Sales Manager, or similar role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and converting event enquiries into confirmed business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
- Passion for luxury hospitality and delivering exceptional client experiences.
- Experience using Delphi, Opera, or similar hotel sales systems is advantageous.
