Event Specialist
12m contract
Location: London, UK (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)
Summary
We are looking for an experienced Event Producer to join Education Customer & Channel Events team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will work help to plan, coordinate, and deliver a portfolio of live, virtual, and hybrid education events worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Event Producer in the planning and execution of education customer and channel events at varying scales and formats for diverse worldwide audiences, adapting to enable cultural relevance and local nuance across live, virtual, and hybrid formats.
- Take ownership of assigned events end to end: logistics, vendor coordination, registration management, on-site execution, and post-event analysis.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across different time zones, prioritising effectively against deadlines and shifting business needs, managing expectations and keeping projects on track.
- Track and report on event ROI, analysing registration data, attendance, engagement metrics, and budget performance.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and venues, negotiating competitive pricing in line with budget targets.
- Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and internal/third-party event tools.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with WW, EMEIA, and GEO education teams, product marketing, and channel partners.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of event processes, templates, and best practices across the team.
- Occasional travel required to support on-site event delivery.

Minimum Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in event production, delivering successful live, virtual, and hybrid events.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects end to end and manage multiple events simultaneously with minimal oversight.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring and optimising event ROI.
- Comfortable working with event registration platforms, CRM systems, and third-party event tools.
- Proven experience managing vendors and negotiating competitive rates.
- Excellent organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
