Position Summary – Casual Waiter/Waitress

As Casual Events Support Staff, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing professional, attentive, and efficient support across a variety of events and functions. You will assist the events team in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of events, maintaining high standards of hospitality and service, and contributing to memorable experiences in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic hospitality professional who enjoys working with people and thrives in a dynamic event setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver friendly, professional, and attentive service to guests throughout events and functions.
  • Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are prepared to the required standard.
  • Support food and beverage service, ensuring guests receive efficient and high-quality service.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, enquiries, and feedback.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of event requirements, schedules, and service standards.
  • Prepare and maintain event areas, ensuring presentation, cleanliness, and organisation are consistently upheld.
  • Assist with processing transactions and following company procedures where required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient event delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and hygiene in all guest and back-of-house areas.
  • Support the delivery of special events, promotions, conferences, banquets, and seasonal functions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Build positive relationships with guests and colleagues, contributing to a welcoming and collaborative working environment.
  • Work closely with event, restaurant, and wider hotel teams to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to outstanding guest service at all times.
