Role: Event Ticketing Manager (Outdoor & Special Events)

SJM Concerts are at the forefront of the Live UK Music market. We promote the biggest UK acts and many world-renowned artistes in the concert and events industry.

General Purpose

Working in an exceptionally busy events team delivering outdoor concerts and festivals, the successful applicant for the role of Event Ticketing Manager will be an organised, enthusiastic and conscientious all-rounder with great attention to detail and a willingness to help with anything and everything that comes their way. We are looking for someone who has previous ticketing and events experience in a similar environment; is a reliable and trustworthy team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and who can effectively prioritise their workload whilst demonstrating absolute discretion towards confidential information.

Key Responsibilities

Including, but not limited to:

  • Preparing ticketing manifests and coordinating event set-up with venues and ticket agents.
  • Managing and maintaining all aspects of event ticketing, from initial set-up and on-sale through to on-site delivery and final settlement.
  • Coordinating and managing event on-sales.
  • Monitoring, collating and reporting ticket sales figures.
  • Managing ticket allocations, holds and inventory across ticketing partners.
  • Liaising with venues, ticket agents and internal teams to ensure accurate and effective ticketing delivery.
  • Managing general ticketing administration and maintaining accurate event records.
  • Supporting the wider events team with ticketing-related queries and requirements.
  • Seasonal on-site work at concerts and festivals, including evenings and weekends, when required.
  • Undertaking any other reasonable duties as requested by the company.

Skills / Experience Required

  • Previous ticketing and event management experience gained within a similar live events environment.
  • Good understanding of the live music and events industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple events, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to learn new systems, tasks and processes quickly.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Experience using ticketing platforms and systems would be advantageous.
  • Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • A supportive, reliable and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Friendly, approachable and cooperative.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to support the wider team when required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.
  • Motivated, professional and enthusiastic, with a positive, can-do attitude.
