Job Title: Events Administrator

Location: Liverpool Street, London

Pay: £14-16 per hour

Duration: 2 months minimum

Hours: Monday-Friday, 37.5-40 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and respond to enquiries received through the shared Events inbox.
  • Process event bookings and maintain accurate event records and attendee data.
  • Support the preparation and packing of event materials prior to events.
  • Unpack, organise, and reconcile materials following events.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory records.
  • Coordinate courier bookings and liaise with delivery providers regarding event logistics.
  • Arrange and manage event printing requirements.
  • Create event collateral, including posters, speaker cards, signage, and delegate materials.
  • Set up event surveys and assist with compiling post-event reports.
  • Collect printed materials from suppliers and carry out quality and accuracy checks.
  • Proofread event communications and printed materials.
  • Provide basic marketing and promotional support for events.
  • Assist the wider Events Team with day-to-day administration and coordination activities.
  • Undertake additional ad hoc administrative duties as required.

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience within events administration, events coordination, office administration, or marketing support.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable liaising with suppliers, couriers, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, reliable, and capable of working independently.
  • Flexible and willing to support hands-on event preparation activities.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive and adaptable approach.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experienced in working with spreadsheets, databases, and administrative systems.
  • Confident producing accurate written communications and proofreading documents.
  • Experience supporting event logistics and delivery.
  • Knowledge of booking systems, CRM systems, or event management platforms would be advantageous.
