Major Events International Ltd (MEI) is based in central London. MEI supports sport and event Rights Holders, Host Cities, and expert suppliers connect via managed engagement via consultancy and Summits/routine networking events. An enhanced international market profile is achieved via email campaigns, the production of an annual Journal, and other newsletter type formats.

There is an immediate requirement for an ambitious, energetic, fast learner who is capable of producing interesting communications and marketing content to support the core objectives of MEI. The second aspect of this role is taking responsibility for the detailed implementation plan produced in collaboration with the wider operations staff.

  • Central London based and available to work in the office immediately with no visa restrictions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation and stakeholder communications.
  • Marketing familiarity with email campaigns, social media, and website updates.
  • Event planning and management skills to either have delivered or able to grow with experienced to support MEI Summits and similar professional briefing and networking events.
  • Highly organised and able to take a project management approach to manage multiple deadlines and concurrent activities.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, online event platforms, CRM or email marketing tools).
  • Experience in the sports, events, or international business sectors is highly advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work on-site in Greater London, including occasional early morning, evening, or travel commitments linked to events.
