DEPARTMENT / TEAM PURPOSE
The Events & Marketing team at Label Gang is responsible for promoting the company's travel experiences, tours, events, and entertainment activities while growing the Label Gang brand within the UK market. The team works closely with management, sales, operations, suppliers, venues, creative partners, and external stakeholders to deliver successful events and travel experiences.
ROLE PURPOSE
The Event and Marketing Manager will manage Label Gang's events and marketing activities across its travel, tourism, and entertainment operations.
The role will involve managing events and group trips, managing event administration, managing marketing campaigns, managing promotional activities, and helping to grow customer engagement and sales. The role requires someone with a strong understanding of the UK events and marketing environment and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, venues, event partners, and internal stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Events Management
- Manage pre-event, on-the-day, and post-event activities for Label Gang tours, day trips, group travel, and events.
- Manage planning and delivery of travel events, community events, entertainment activities, promotional events, and small-scale corporate or private events.
- Manage event schedules, venues, suppliers, transport providers, catering, entertainment, and other third-party services.
- Manage event timelines, checklists, budgets, and operational requirements.
- Manage events and activities for groups of varying sizes, including smaller events of up to approximately 100 attendees as well as larger group trips and events.
- Manage customer and delegate registration, bookings, invitations, RSVPs, and attendance records.
- Liaise with venues, hotels, restaurants, attractions, and other suppliers.
- Manage event setup, branding, signage, promotional materials, and on-site requirements.
- Manage event staff and management during events and resolve operational issues where required.
- Collect customer feedback and manage post-event evaluation and reporting.
- Manage preparation of event budgets, quotations, invoices, and purchase information.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, businesses, influencers, event partners, and other relevant organizations.

Marketing, Promotions, and Lead Generation
- Plan and manage marketing campaigns for Label Gang's tours, trips, events, and activities.
- Manage the development of promotional campaigns across social media, digital platforms, email, and other relevant marketing channels.
- Manage content requirements including posters, promotional graphics, videos, social media content, and event advertisements.
- Manage promotional offers, early-bird campaigns, ticket launches, and event announcements.
- Manage Label Gang's website and digital marketing activities.
- Manage SEO, website content, and search visibility.
- Track website enquiries, bookings, leads, and conversions.
- Manage email marketing and customer communication campaigns.
- Manage Facebook ads and social media advertising campaigns.
- Use relevant digital marketing and CRM systems to maintain customer and campaign information.
- Prepare marketing reports covering leads, enquiries, engagement, bookings, and campaign performance.
- Generate and manage enquiries and leads from social media, websites, events, partnerships, and other marketing channels.
- Analyse customer engagement and identify opportunities to increase bookings and repeat business.

Essential
- Minimum 4 years of professional UK experience in events and marketing.
- Previous experience managing and delivering events independently.
- Experience in event planning, administration, and supplier management.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Experience of UK events and marketing practices.
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, or similar digital advertising platforms.
- Experience with email marketing platforms.
- Experience with SEO and website content management systems.
- Experience in marketing, digital marketing, and social media.
- Experience in lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion.
- Experience working with event venues, suppliers, and external stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, and business partners.
- Experience working with community organisations, influencers, or partnership networks.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
- Experience of Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Workspace, and other digital marketing tools.
- Ability to manage multiple events, campaigns, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENT
The language requirement is important for communicating with Label Gang's diverse customer base, event attendees, suppliers, community partners, and stakeholders.
