About Blissgrowth
Blissgrowth is the UK's #1 AI B2B Venture Studio. We've built 10 companies so far with exceptional second-time founders, including Yieldify (acquired), Reachdesk (Series B at $225m), StackOne (Series A) and Screenloop (acquired), and have been backed by top global investors like Google Ventures, Sequoia, and a16z.
We're now building 10 new AI companies over the next three years.
Importance of Events
Events are a critical part of how we build relationships and our broader growth strategy. It’s where we meet exceptional founders we build with, investors, advisors, customers for our portfolio startups, talent, and elite operators.
Our events already bring together the best of the ecosystem - previous events have been sponsored by Google, HSBC Innovation Banking, Osborne Clarke, Goodwin, Carta, and Stripe. With speakers including the Unicorn Founders and Operators of Paddle, MuleSoft, and ElevenLabs, Tier 1 VC’s and Frontier AI Labs like Google DeepMind.
We don’t measure events by headcount but instead by the calibre of the room, quality of the content delivered, and the experience we deliver for our sponsors, and whether people want to come back.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Role
Events
- Own the end-to-end coordination and organisation of our events: logistics, sourcing and securing venues, managing catering, AV and suppliers, handling budgets, timelines and flawless execution on the night.
- Source and secure exceptional speakers our audience wants to hear and learn from, and curate guest lists that make each event genuinely worth attending.
- Find the right people to bring into the room (founders, investors, operators) and make sure every conversation is worth having.
- We'll run around 20 events and 20 founder dinners in 2027.
Community
- Be a serial networker for Blissgrowth - out in the startup community, at events, constantly finding and connecting interesting people.
- Build and own the community that sits around our events, keeping it warm, active, and growing.
- Run promotion across Luma, LinkedIn and our WhatsApp communities.
Partnerships
- Negotiate with event sponsors and partners, securing the right deals and building long-term relationships.
- Deliver for sponsors: understanding their ICP, activations, introductions on the night, content, and post-event reports.
- Identify and open doors to new partnership opportunities across the ecosystem.
Sales & Validation
- Act as a BDR across the portfolio - sourcing conversations, opening doors, and supporting early commercial traction.
- Help the studio validate new venture ideas by getting in front of the right buyers and gathering real signal.
- Support commercial conversations and negotiations where needed.

Who You Are
- You have 2+ years of experience, either in events or as a BDR / SDR who's also been significantly involved in events.
- Ideally, you've worked at a startup or VC, and you genuinely love the early stage - the pace, the chaos, the building.
- You're a serial networker with a naturally magnetic, social personality - you build connections effortlessly, and people remember you.
- You're exceptionally organised and structured - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch.
- You have natural sales ability and are comfortable with light commercial and negotiation work.
- You understand the business side - you can hold a conversation with a founder or a buyer and add value.
- You have real entrepreneurial flair. This is early-stage and full-stack - you'll need to figure things out and run with them.
Why Join Us?
- Work directly with the founding team with real ownership from day one.
- Be at the centre of one of the UK's best startup ecosystems, surrounded by exceptional founders, investors, and operators.
- A role that blends events, community, partnerships and sales - genuinely full-stack, with room to grow into whichever direction you're strongest.
- Carry in the Blissgrowth fund, so you share in the upside of the companies your events help build.
