Pay: £22.07 per hour PAYE or £28.78 per hour via Umbrella
About the opportunity

We are looking for an Events and Programme Coordinator to support the delivery of an exciting cultural programme in the heart of the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of live events, public art, learning and engagement activities and cultural projects, helping to create experiences that make the City an inclusive, sustainable and welcoming destination.
Working as part of a collaborative Culture Team, you will play an important role in keeping programmes and events running smoothly. From coordinating schedules and liaising with artists to supporting event logistics, documentation and stakeholder communications, this is a varied role where strong organisation and attention to detail will make a real difference.

What you'll be doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing day-to-day administrative and coordination support across cultural programmes, events and projects.
- Responding to programme enquiries from stakeholders and members of the public.
- Maintaining event calendars, project timelines, milestone trackers and action lists.
- Supporting the preparation of budgets, schedules, contracts, licensing applications, risk assessments and other event documentation.
- Collating and sharing relevant documentation with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating practical event arrangements, including artist and crew travel and accommodation, technical and staging equipment, catering and other services.
- Supporting the development of production and programming schedules.
- Acting as a point of contact for artists during the delivery of events and projects.
- Working with internal teams, including Security, Facilities and Cleaning, to coordinate event requirements.
- Coordinating event applications and approvals for activity taking place at Guildhall Yard.
- Organising, attending and taking minutes at production, programming and partner meetings.
- Supporting the on-site delivery of events and cultural programmes.
- Contributing to sustainability reporting and the monitoring and evaluation of creative programmes.
- Assisting with research and contributing ideas that help shape future projects and events.
