Events & Room Bookings Team Leader
Location: London
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Standard shifts are 8:00am–5:00pm or 9:00am–6:00pm, with flexibility required between 7:00am and 8:00pm to support business events.
Salary: £38,000–£40,000 per annum
Lead a team that keeps every event and meeting running seamlessly.
We're looking for an Events & Room Bookings Team Leader to join Rapport in a brand-new role at one of our prestigious corporate clients in London.
Leading a team of nine across room bookings, events and room set-up, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional workplace experience while supporting the implementation of new systems and creating best-in-class operating procedures. Main Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the Events and Room Bookings team, ensuring a seamless service.
- Manage, coach and develop a team across room bookings, events and room set-up.
- Create and implement standard operating procedures to support service excellence.
- Build strong relationships with Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants and senior stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with catering and other service partners to deliver outstanding events.
- Support the contract through a period of change, driving continuous improvement and embedding new systems.
The Ideal Candidate Will

- Have previous experience leading events, hospitality or workplace services teams.
- Be confident working with senior business leaders and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and service partners.

- Be an engaging people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Have a background in events or event operations (preferred).
