The Events Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Burnham-On-Crouch, supporting the planning and delivery of internal and external events for Oakley Capital. This role will assist with event logistics, including venue coordination, supplier liaison, travel and accommodation arrangements, and preparation of event materials. The Events Assistant will help manage guest lists, invitations, and RSVPs, ensuring a professional experience for attendees and stakeholders. Responsibilities include maintaining event timelines, tracking budgets, preparing post-event reports, and supporting the wider team with administrative tasks related to events. The individual will collaborate closely with colleagues across offices to ensure events are executed efficiently, on brand, and in line with Oakley’s standards.

Qualifications
- Strong event planning and event management skills, with experience supporting corporate or professional events.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities, with a focus on building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid organization skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite) and comfort working with event management tools or CRM systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Burnham-On-Crouch, collaborating effectively as part of a team and taking initiative when required.
- Prior experience in an events, administration, or hospitality role is beneficial; experience in financial services or professional services is an advantage.
- Relevant education or training in events, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
