We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity if you have a passion for events, organisation, and luxury experiences as you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional moments.
About the Role
In this role you’ll be supporting the Events team in all aspects of planning and execution — from admin coordination to onsite delivery—ensuring every detail runs smoothly. This role offers the chance to work across a variety of high-profile events, often at pace and with quick turnarounds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with day-to-day coordination and planning of events, including updating calendars, managing team meetings, and supporting financial and Health & Safety tasks.
- Providing onsite support during event delivery alongside Events Executives and Managers.
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution and guest experience.
- Conducting industry research, maintaining accurate records, and preparing weekly meeting agendas and timelines.
- Supporting Harrods Banqueting services by managing catering logistics, Food & Beverage orders through SAP, and coordinating stock and event orders.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

This role requires full flexibility to the nature of supporting early morning, evening and occasional weekend work.
About You
You will be a proactive and confident team player with a natural flair for organisation and communication. Thriving in a fast-paced environment, you're not afraid to take initiative and offer support beyond your remit when needed. You’ll bring energy, professionalism, and a hunger to learn and grow in the events space.
You will also have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across teams.
- High attention to detail with excellent organisation and multitasking abilities.
- The ability to use your initiative and a proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of tasks and support the wider team.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
