Are you a highly organised & confident communicator?

Are you interested in working in a fast-paced environment for an established Events and thriving publishing client?

Our client is looking for an Events Assistant to join them during their busy period until December, with the potential for the role to be extended. This is the ideal starting place to develop a career in Events.

This role is 3-6 months with the potential to be extended.

Overview:

An exciting opportunity to join a well-established and thriving publisher and event organiser within the private client wealth management sector.

We are a leader in providing news, data, and high-level events for the private client and wealth management community for over 20 years. We are a small, collaborative business with a prestigious client base that includes many of the UK’s leading private banks, wealth managers, law firms and asset managers.

As a member of our close-knit team, you will play a key role in supporting our dynamic events schedule and day-to-day business operations. In addition to general administrative responsibilities, this role offers scope to get involved in client-facing work — supporting our advertising clients through reporting, campaign tracking, and account liaison.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
