About WeBuyVintage

WeBuyVintage is one of the UK’s largest buyers of jewellery, antiques, and collectibles. We run more roadshows than any other UK company - over 250 valuation events every month - bringing trusted experts face-to-face with customers across the country.

In three years, we’ve grown from a pub-table idea into an eight-figure business, and we’re on a mission to make WeBuyVintage a brand everyone recognises.

The Role

At WeBuyVintage, we’re passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and building knowledgeable, confident teams that represent our company to the highest standard out in the field. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for passionate, hands-on Roadshow Assistants who enjoy going above and beyond for customers and strive for consistency & quality across their work.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

As a Roadshow Assistant you’ll work at our roadshows alongside our Buyers. You’ll be the person responsible for the consistent quality and smooth running of our roadshow events, which includes:

  • Hospitality – you’ll be the first and last face that our customers see, building rapport with them to make sure that every minute of their time at our Roadshow is an enjoyable one. It’s the small things - making sure people are comfortable, knowing when it’s their turn to be seen, and having all of their questions answered.
  • Event quality – our events cannot run and definitely don’t feel the same without you. You’ll ensure that all of our events look and feel the same, no matter where they are – banners, signs, biscuits, music… and everything else that turns an event into an experience.
  • On the day venue management – work with our bookings team to (when arriving at a roadshow), meet with local venue teams, pass on health & safety messaging to our buyers, and just generally being our on-site contact for all queries.
  • Product triage – alongside our Buyers, help our customer understand what items we do and don’t buy so that we can manage their expectations early on.
  • Customer experience – some of our customers might have lots of valuables, others might have recently lost a family member. Your job is to be understanding, no matter the circumstances and show that individual that they can trust us.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
