Harris Hill is looking for an Events Assistant for 12 weeks, working 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days at home, for a London based charity.

About the Role:

You will support the end-to-end coordination of events, ensuring logistics, administration, and on-the-day operations run efficiently. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and scheduling event activities, timelines, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm bookings, deliveries, and service requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain event documentation, including run sheets, contact lists, and checklists.
  • Support event registration processes, guest lists, and attendee communications.
  • Handle general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating event records.
  • Provide on-the-day event support, including set-up, signage, registration desks, and guest assistance.
  • Liaise with venue staff to ensure room layouts, equipment, and catering are delivered as agreed.
  • Help with post-event wrap-up, including collating feedback, photos, and basic reporting.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
