Events & Communications Assistant, Private Equity (3/2) 22961 £35,000 - £45,000 + bonus + benefits

Do you have 2+ years’ experience working in events/communications/PR and a genuine interest in financial services?

A dynamic Private Equity Firm is looking for a smart and professional Events & Comms Assistant to support the Head of Events within the Investor Relations Team with the firm’s internal and external corporate events programme.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Supporting the Head of Events in planning and delivering corporate events including AGMs, Investor Committee meetings, Sales and Marketing forums and client entertainment events such as Wimbledon, Henley
  • Assisting with logistics for internal events, offsites and the group-wide social calendar
  • Managing guest lists, invitations and RSVPs as well as on-the-day event coordination
  • Assisting with the tracking of event budgets
  • Assisting with maintenance of company website, and social media channels
  • Producing presentation and marketing materials including invitations
  • Helping maintain the media and stakeholder contact database
  • Producing reports and action lists tracking events and communications activity
  • Assisting the Head of Events with administrative and project support as required

The skills you need to bring:

  • 2 years’ + experience supporting in a fast-paced corporate environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Comfortable and confident liaising with internal & external stakeholders at a senior level
  • Ability to maintain energy and stamina when working long hours during events
  • Collaborative team player, keen to learn but also able to work independently
  • Bright, motivated and always enthusiastic
  • Discreet and professional with good judgement
  • Advanced MS Office & familiarity of Claude, social media and CMS platforms
