Responsibilities

This role will require leading an events team covering tastings, dinners, trade shows, on-trade promotions, and training events. It is varied and needs someone who thrives being super organised and covering every detail as well as being an exceptional project manager and team leader. Although you will be working as part of a team in this role you will have the chance to take on lots of ownership so you need to be confident driving things forwards and covering the end-to-end event management from research, budgets to planning and execution.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Requirements

To really thrive in this supportive and passionate team you will need to already have experience of managing events, either in a full-time events role or as part of a PR/marketing business. You will be able to talk through examples of events you have organised and the end-to-end process to manage things as smoothly as possible. Specifically, you will have around five years’ full-time experience working in an events role, in a fast-paced environment. Most importantly you will be super organised, love a spreadsheet, and be able to juggle a curve ball with ease. If you have wine experience that is a bonus but not essential, but a passion for the industry is!
