About the Role

Do you thrive in fast-paced, hands-on environments? Are you passionate about education, creativity, and delivering unforgettable experiences?

As an Events Executive at ICMP & SAE, we’re looking for a proactive, organised individual to help design and deliver exceptional start-to-finish live and virtual events. This role is all about helping people of all ages and backgrounds discover their creative potential while growing our community and expanding education.

The Marketing & Events Team runs a broad portfolio of high-impact projects including Open Days, Experience Days, workshops, fairs, live performances, events for schools & colleges, Graduation Ceremonies, and community development initiatives.

You’ll oversee every detail—consulting with guest speakers, festival organisers, headteachers and local authorities, keeping logistics on track, marketing campaigns, reporting on results, and measuring impact.

This is a fantastic way to start a career in marketing, communications or working closely with students and creative education.

Key Responsibilities

You will collaborate with the Head of Events, Campus Manager, and Admissions team to execute a diverse range of events which fall into four key areas:

Core Focus: Student Recruitment & Experience

  • Coordinate, manage, and deliver:
    • Open Days and Open Evenings (tailored for pre-students & their families)
    • Experience Days (enticing in-person or hybrid try-before-you-buy sessions)
    • UCAS & HE Fairs (representing SAE & ICMP in the wider student sector)
    • School Workshops & Tours (educator talks & studio walks)
    • Freshers’ Week (student-care focused kickoff)
    • Graduation Ceremonies & End-of-Year Showcases (final celebrations – supporting performances & visual production)
    • Guest Speaker & Masterclass Programmes (supporting creative mentor engagement)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
