About the Role
We recently launched our new brand, Equals. This is an exciting time in the business’s growth. Events form an important part of our Marketing strategy and provide us with an effective way to engage with our customers and drive business growth.
The Field Marketing Lead is responsible for our global events programme and partners closely with our Marketing and Commercial teams to build, operationalise and report on this key focus area for the business. Reporting into the Marketing Director, the Field Marketing Lead will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape a global annual calendar of events across conferences, hosted events, VIP dinners and more, with revenue generation as a core KPI.

Responsibilities
- Global event strategy and planning
- Strong collaboration with Marketing team to ensure events are an integrated channel, that contribute to broader campaign goals
- Manage one direct report and workload across the team
- Stakeholder relationships in Commercial, Product, People, Exec Committee & Board
- Partner closely with Communications and PR teams to devise themes and arrange media opportunities at events
- Forecasting, scenario planning and budget management
- Close partnerships with Marketing and RevOps on campaigns, event reporting and sales enablement
- Collaborate with internal and external design teams on stand design and activation
- Control and reconciliation of event related spend
- Events knowledgebase and event related communications
Your Profile
Skills & Experience
- At least 4 years’ experience in field marketing or events marketing management
- Fintech/payments experience is ideal, tech experience is a must
- High EQ and skilled in stakeholder management
- Project management, flawlessly manages multiple projects simultaneously
- Prioritisation and recommendations, can clearly present priorities that align with the business strategy and guide stakeholders with recommendations
- Experience with international events management including the EU, US, Asia and Middle East
- Commercially minded, highly skilled in storytelling with data
