About the Opportunity
We are WR Fundraising Recruitment and we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced events fundraising professional to join a growing fundraising team at an extremely well-supported East London / West Essex-based health charity.
Role Overview
Events Fundraiser
Full Time, Permanent
East London / West Essex with hybrid working
Up to circa £33,500 per annum on experience
Driving licence and access to vehicle required
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver a programme of fundraising events across the charity that delivers on budgets
- Build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders through third-party, bespoke, corporate, and challenge events
- Supporting the wider fundraising team with gaining sponsorship and event support
- Ensure a high level of stewardship for event attendees, supporters, sponsors, and donors
- Adopt a positive approach to overall fundraising, helping contribute to overall income targets

Ideal Candidate
This role is ideal for anyone passionate about delivering ambitious income targets through an innovative events plan. Ideal candidates will have:
- Proven experience of success in running a variety of fundraising and/or challenge events
- Ability to manage a varied and constantly evolving range of projects
- Exceptional skills and experience in relationship building and communication
- An understanding of H&S, Risk assessment, and event planning
- A creative and innovative approach to planning and implementing a diverse range of appropriate fundraising and challenge events
