At the heart of our fundraising team, the Events Fundraiser plays a vital role in bringing our community together through events that connect with the communities we serve while raising essential funds for hospice care. You’ll be part of a passionate, supportive team that’s committed to making every moment matter for the people we serve.
The Events Fundraiser is a key role in a busy fundraising team, responsible for supporting our events and challenge event activity, and helping to build relationships and income generated hospice-led events. You’ll support the Community & Events Manager in the planning, organising and executing a variety of fundraising activities from our Hospice Mini Marathon to Quizzes to supporting our challenge event participants. You'll ensure that every event delights our supporters.

You’ll be a self-starter and problem solver who is calm under pressure, and driven by excellent organisational skills and a forward-planning approach. This is a hands-on, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the friendly face and voice for our events as well as offering support to our challenge event participants, helping everyone you deal with feel valued and connected. From coordinating logistics and updating databases to leading on certain events and supporting volunteers, you’ll help create memorable experiences that make a real difference.
