Fanatics Commerce

Fanatics Commerce is the global leader in licensed sports merchandise, operating a vertically integrated platform that designs, manufactures, and delivers officially licensed apparel, jerseys, headwear, and collectibles for major leagues, teams, and events worldwide. With more than 900 e-commerce sites and a global omnichannel presence across digital, in-venue, and retail, Fanatics Commerce reaches fans in over 180 countries and powers official fan experiences for many of the world's most iconic sports properties.

At Fanatics, we bring our BOLD Leadership Principles to life every day - building championship teams, obsessing over fans, acting with entrepreneurial speed, and delivering with a determined and relentless mindset.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Events and Inventory Manager owns the full retail event lifecycle at Wembley Stadium — from pre-event preparation through to close-down — across all trading locations including Olympic Way, external and internal concourses, hospitality, and the stadium store. This role works in close collaboration with the Fanatics Events team to ensure seamless execution across matchdays, concerts, and non-FA stadium events, driving consistency, stock accuracy, and operational excellence at every location. The Events and Inventory Manager delivers business and fan impact through BOLD leadership and execution excellence, leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled insights.

HOW WILL YOU DRIVE IMPACT

Success is measured by the ability to deliver results through BOLD capabilities and measurable outcomes.

Team & Leadership Impact (Build Championship Teams)

  • Cross-Functional Leadership:

    • Partner with Supply Chain, Merchandising, warehouse teams, and the Fanatics Events team to coordinate deliveries, transfers, replenishment, and returns across all stadium retail locations.
    • Coordinate with Wembley Facilities, stadium operations, and internal stakeholders on access, logistics, security, and operational restrictions to ensure event readiness.
    • Lead event briefings and post-event reviews, ensuring actions are captured, assigned, and completed across all relevant teams.
  • People Leadership:

    • Lead and develop the core PREP team, creating skilled area ownership and clearly defined event responsibilities for every trading location.
    • Coach supervisors and team members in stock handling, setup, replenishment, and event execution to build consistent capability and reduce dependency on individual knowledge.
    • Allocate PREP resource across all stadium retail areas and hold the team to consistent standards through repeatable preparation and close-down routines.

Fan & Customer Impact (Obsessed with Fans)

  • Ensure every event trading location — including Olympic Way, all concourse levels, hospitality, the stadium store, and Click & Collect — is stocked, equipped, and operationally ready before gates open.
  • Integrate Click & Collect seamlessly into matchday and event plans so fans experience a frictionless collection journey regardless of event type or scale.
  • Identify stock risks early and escalate requirements to protect sales opportunities and avoid gaps in fan-facing product availability during live trading.
  • Coordinate retail readiness across all Wembley locations to deliver a consistently high standard of fan experience at every touchpoint, from the external concourse to Level 5 hospitality.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
